The second Symposium of the HyperTransport Center
of Excellence will take place on February 11-12th, 2009. The Symposium
consists of key notes from leading scientists from industry and
academia, presentations on recent work in the area of HyperTransport,
an exhibition and a workshop for peer reviewed academic research

The Call for Papers for the First International Workshop on HyperTransport Research and Applications (WHTRA) is online. The workshop will take place as an accompanying event of the Second Symposium of the HyperTransport Center of Excellence.
Scientist and Researchers are encouraged to submit their work. After a
peer review process the accepted contributions will be presented at the

Online Registration for the CoEHT Symposium on February 16th 2007 is
open now.
The symposium will bring together experts in the field of HT and high
performance processors and FPGA coprocessing for the celebration of the
founding of the Center of Excellence for HyperTransport Technology in
Mannheim.

14.11.2006 SC06: AMD in conjunction with the Computer
Architecture Group at the University of Mannheim, Germany announced the
creation of the Mannheim Center of Excellence (COE) for research in

The Research Partner Agreement between Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
(AMD) and the Computer Architecture Group (CAG) at the University of
Mannheim was signed. The CAG will operate a Center of Excellence for
HyperTransport research.

The HyperTransport Consortium (www.hypertransport.org) today published two press releases about the Computer Architecture Group and the HTX-BOARD. The first press release ( pdf-version)
reports about the joining of two prestigious Academic Institutions, one
of them is the Computer Architecture Group of the University of
Mannheim. The second press release (pdf-version) reports in detail about our current project, the HTX-BOARD, which is a reference design within the HyperTransport Consortium.
